Flat Iron Case!!!

I use my flat iron everyday and even more-so when I’m on vacation. When travelling, after I’m finished using my flat iron… I usually wrap it in a t-shirt to make sure I don’t burn anything in my suitcase because it stays HOT for a long time after it’s unplugged OR I pack everything and wait for it to cool before I pack it. DIY Laundry Soap!!!

A few weeks ago I featured How to make your own Laundry Soap by The DIY Village during From Dream To Reality #26. I just LOVED the idea of making our own soap, so we tried the recipe. It was really fun sitting together as a family putting all the ingredients together. We each took our turn grating the Fels Naptha Laundry Soap Bars. Fun retro-style Pincushion Jar perfect to give as a gift or to keep for yourself. Last week we finished a jar of jam, I couldn’t bring myself to throw it out because I loved the shape of it… and most importantly of all I LOVED the little writing on it. Have you ever tie-dyed before? If you haven’t.. you should really try it. It’s really FUN and addictive. My sister and I tie-dyed t-shirts last week (it was for a parade and we wanted all the kids to match). We had never tie-dyed anything before, we were kinda nervous about it. I think we watched over 4 videos before we actually attempted it. Once you start, you just can’t stop… it’s super fun and EASY (no need to be nervous about it)!
