Today, on The DIY Dreamer we have a special guest…. 
Amy the creator of the BEAUTIFUL Jewelry line Junghwa!!
I just adore Amy, she’s oh so SWEET and TALENTED!!
I asked Amy a few questions…
 Who is Amy Stewart?
I am a mother and wife first and foremost.  Those two roles are what make me successful.  I am a workaholic.  I always want to go above and beyond for my customers, so that means a lot of long days and nights.  I never used to be this way.  I used to think I would never enjoy working, but I know now that it was because I was never truly happy with what I was doing until now.  I am such a creative person and without an outlet to explore my creativity, I would go stir-crazy!  I’m having such a good time and working from home is such a blessing.  I get to be with my baby all the time.
Where do you get your inspiration from when creating new pieces?
I draw inspiration from many different sources.  Sometimes from street fashion.  Mostly, it just comes to me while I’m daydreaming.  I will go through dry spells where I don’t feel inspired at all.  And then all of a sudden I’ll get more ideas than I can handle.  That’s when I grab a pen and a piece of paper and sketch everything out before the ideas disappear.
What’s your favorite piece?

My favorite piece changes all the time.  Right now I wear my tiny gold open heart stud earrings everyday.  They’re so cute and comfortable.  I even wear them while I shower and sleep!  I also have been gaga over my spike necklace on gold chain.  It seriously goes with everything!  Its pretty but edgy.  Just perfect.

What are your typical Saturday mornings?


Typically, my husband and I will sleep in till 9:30 with our son.  Then after we play for a little bit, I do a little work like replying to emails and what not.  Then I try to get us all out of the house to do anything so I’m not at home.  Because if I’m at home, I’m working.  And since I’ve been working non-stop for so long, I try really hard to keep the work down to a minimum on the weekends.
