Hi everyone!

I am so excited to share one of my favorite(and healthy!)treats with you today.  We all are busy, and it is so easy to grab a fast snack that isn’t always very healthy. But, in five minutes you can throw together a yummy, calcium-rich snack that you can feel good about.  I have found a way to sneak in a couple extra servings of fruit with the kids this way too, and they think they are having a milkshake…

Orange Creamsicle Smoothie

In a blender, combine the following:
1 cup of ice
One peeled orange, segmented
1 cup of frozen mango cubes (or canned pineapple)
6 oz light vanilla yogurt
3/4 c. low fat milk
1 t. vanilla extract
Blend ingredients on high until smooth and ice has been blended in well.
This makes a great breakfast on the go in a large travel cup too.
