Martha Stewart’s Favorite Crafts for Kids!!

Martha Stewart’s Favorite Crafts for Kids: 175 Projects for Kids of All Ages to Create, Build, Design, Explore and Share! Last week my daughters were surprised with a package from Martha Stewart. They received Martha’s brand new book: Martha Stewart’s Favorite Crafts for Kids. The book is seriously jam-packed full of wonderful crafts that kids of all ages can create. Included in the book are 175 Projects and many of the projects are created with items you can find around your home!

Gabrielle and Emanuelle have been glued to the book ever since we received it. Gabrielle wakes up in the morning with ideas of stuff she can create with the book. So far they have made Monster Stuffed Animals (they drew their own patterns or should I say Gabrielle drew both because Emanuelle wanted one just like her big sister) and painted on rocks.

Right now we are working on the Horse Stable Diorama project. We are having SO MUCH FUN finding little things that we can transform into useful items for the stable. We have transformed used Keurig K-Cups into buckets with aluminium foil and wire! Once it’s completed I promised the girls that we would go buy a few horses for the stable. I will show you the completed project once it’s finished.

Here are a couple projects you’ll find inside the book:

  1. I told you before but this is definitely a book I would truly enjoy to read so I can craft with my little boy! he is curious and loves painting! :-) & I’m so happy this giveaway is opened to Canadian residents as well! :-)
Happy Canada day Christine hope you are having a nice day!

  2. I love seeing the creativity they have with their crafts…not only while doing them, but often hearing the story about their craft and what it is once it’s done

  3. i love crafting with children because their imagination knows no bounds and anything is possible and it is always incredibly fun x

  4. I like crafting with kids because of the bonding…my hope is they will remember the time we spent long after I’m gone. Thanks for the giveaway, I can’t believe I didn’t have you on g+! I plus you all the time :)

  5. I love crafting with children because they are so creative. They use their imaginations without fear of failure. Even the children who are a bit shy will open up with just a bit of encouragement. How lovely is that? I wish everyone could win!

  6. I love the quality time I get to spend with my grandchildren and to see the determined look on their faces as they are making things and seeing them so proudly show everyone what they made. The whole process melts my heart.

  7. I love their creativity! Children have such freedom of thought, free of the constraints of society and judgment, and they come up with wonderful, beautiful ideas as a result!

  8. Okay, I’ll be honest here and say, I don’t ALWAYS love crafting with my little ones….at least Miss Ramsay. She tends to get a little wild with the craft materials and I usually end up with the biggest mess. That being said, I’m working on it, reminding myself that it’s just part of the process. :-) I do LOVE watching their little faces light up because crafting is something they adore.

  9. I love to see how creative they can be and how there are no “rules” holding them back, they just do what they like and are proud of it.

  10. I love crafting with my kids because it is 100% quality time with them. It is fun to see their individuality and creativity come out and we always enjoy our time together. It is one of my boys’s favorite things to do with me, besides cook :) And I would have to say it is one of my favorite things to do with them!

  11. My favorite part about crafting with my kiddo is watching his creativity flow. I find it fascinating to watch him have fun creating things, and I love listening to him explain why he chooses to do things a certain way.
