The Pink Chair
We’ve been working a lot lately on pieces for Emanuelle’s bedroom. We just finished the pink chair that will be going with her white desk (it’s not white yet though haha).
Step #1: We cleaned up the school chair. Step #2: We sanded the chair with #60 paper to remove the varnish and then with #120 to make it smooth.
Step #3: We applied one coat of primer. Step #4: We hand sanded the chair (#120) where it still didn’t feel smooth enough. Step #5: We applied two coats of the Fleur de Lotus paint (light pink).
It a soft shade of pink, we really love it. It’s going to look great with the white pieces in her bedroom. Do you like it? I can’t wait to get started on her furniture, I suppose we should start by finishing the shutters though. Only 1 more coat of paint to go! YAY!!

Really cute! I’m all for sanding and painting and pink! =) xo Anja
