The Jewellery Box-Stand!!!
We made a jewellery box-stand for my daughter.
Here it is…… the jewelry box we made for Gabrielle:

What do you think??? I absolutely ADORE it!!! I actually want to make one for myself and probably one for my youngest. hehe
This is what it looks likes without jewellery on it:
Measurements: 13.5” high x 8” deep x 12” wide
The feet are actually little wooden door knobs. This idea came from my Dad. : )
Let me know if you try to make one or if you have any questions.

That is really cute! A great idea!!
I love your idea! Your dad is clever with the feet and it just looks all-round great :)
I blog about organising too at http://organisingqueen.com
I love it! You did an amazing job! Great job! Angie xo
I love the design. Very unique. Nice job.
That’s awesome, do you have a tutorial at all?
No, I didn’t do a step by step on this project. However, if you have any questions please feel free to ask :)
This is a great idea. I’m not sure if I wanted to go with all the wall hung jewelry storage set ups I’ve been seeing lately. This is a great alternative. I’m pinning it.
Thanks :)
That’s sooo amazing! I need one of those badly.
Jewelry organizer overall is pretty tricky to create. And there are tones of these made from picture frames with wire backings. Yours is such a unique piece! I bet you keep some bracelets at the bottom in the drawer.
Yep.. all the loose pieces are at the bottom of the box :)
Glad you like it :)
Great idea and great way to keep your necklaces from getting tangled!
I need something for my jewelry so bad, and for some reason I find only super expensive ones {sigh} Glad I saw you on It’s Overflowing… It’s crazy how awesome this is!!! Definitely going to try it…may come back with a question. Thanks for the idea! I’m you newest follower :)

Shoot away with questions… I would love to help :)
What did you use for the wood pieces inside of the box? And how big are the holes you drilled for the earrings?
The pieces inside the box are actually piece of scrap wood my father had laying around. We just trimmed them to be the same size.
I don’t remember off hand the side bit I used for the holes. I did take out an earring (with the biggest stem) and used that to help me decide the size of the holes.
This is so smart…love the crystal knob on the front! Would be delighted for you to link up with us over at Mop It Up Mondays (at i should be mopping the floor): http://www.ishouldbemoppingthefloor.com/2012/02/mop-it-up-mondays-4.html
Have a great week!

My pleasure :)
What a great idea! I love that it’s tall enough to keep necklaces from pooling up at the bottom. I think my hubby could make one for me if I show him your post. Stopping by from Mix It Up Mondays. Thanks for sharing this sweet jewelrey box/stand!

Thanks Marisa!!! Maybe I should :)
I’m heading to your blog right now :)
Christine this is really a great idea. Don’t you just love when Dad contributes something that is post worthy? I get my creative side from my Dad. He can make anything. Thanks for linking up over at SweetTalkin’ Sunday!
Oh I adore it :) He was quite happy when I told him that it was featured at a few blogs :)
nice idea! even if something falls off you won’t have to look for it since it would collect in the box. i like it a lot!
Awesome! I need one of these!!
I love it! It’s so different than a normal closed in jewelry box.
Yeah.. when it’s closed you can’t see what you have… All open like this you see all your jewelery and you actually will wear them :)
How creative! A great way to store your jewelry!
Thank you :)
What a great idea! Looks beautiful with and without jewelry on it! thank you for sharing with Uncommon! Bonnie ;)
