Martha Stewart’s Favorite Crafts for Kids!!
Martha Stewart’s Favorite Crafts for Kids: 175 Projects for Kids of All Ages to Create, Build, Design, Explore and Share! Last week my daughters were surprised with a package from Martha Stewart. They received Martha’s brand new book: Martha Stewart’s Favorite Crafts for Kids. The book is seriously jam-packed full of wonderful crafts that kids of all ages can create. Included in the book are 175 Projects and many of the projects are created with items you can find around your home!
Gabrielle and Emanuelle have been glued to the book ever since we received it. Gabrielle wakes up in the morning with ideas of stuff she can create with the book. So far they have made Monster Stuffed Animals (they drew their own patterns or should I say Gabrielle drew both because Emanuelle wanted one just like her big sister) and painted on rocks.
Right now we are working on the Horse Stable Diorama project. We are having SO MUCH FUN finding little things that we can transform into useful items for the stable. We have transformed used Keurig K-Cups into buckets with aluminium foil and wire! Once it’s completed I promised the girls that we would go buy a few horses for the stable. I will show you the completed project once it’s finished.
Here are a couple projects you’ll find inside the book:

My daughters love the book so much that they have asked if we could make 1 or 2 projects every week during summer break. Of course I said YES!

Crafting with kids is fun because you never know what’s going to happen! ;)
Okay, I’ll be honest here and say, I don’t ALWAYS love crafting with my little ones….at least Miss Ramsay. She tends to get a little wild with the craft materials and I usually end up with the biggest mess. That being said, I’m working on it, reminding myself that it’s just part of the process. :-) I do LOVE watching their little faces light up because crafting is something they adore.
I was the 1st person to check this book out of local library!! We’d love to own it!!
Here’s hoping I win….
How excited and proud they are, that they made it themselves :)

They have a lot of imaginative ideas and they are so cute when they are crafting :)
I love crafting with my kids because it is 100% quality time with them. It is fun to see their individuality and creativity come out and we always enjoy our time together. It is one of my boys’s favorite things to do with me, besides cook :) And I would have to say it is one of my favorite things to do with them!
My favorite part about crafting with my kiddo is watching his creativity flow. I find it fascinating to watch him have fun creating things, and I love listening to him explain why he chooses to do things a certain way.
Wohoo!!! Thank you so much for this great giveaway! My kids will be so happy for so many fabulous projects to do! Krista
