Hi There!! I’m Christine!  A 40 something full-time Mom, Wife, Blogger and The DIY Dreamer.

I have two gorgeous little ladies in my life, Gabrielle and Emanuelle, my two sweet daughters.  I’m also lucky enough to be married to my best friend Sébastien.

I’ve been blogging for years and started theDIYdreamer.com in 2011.   I LOVE IT!!

The DIY Dreamer is where I share a bunch of stuff (do it yourself projects, crafts, lots of tutorials, recipes..) that I created.  Lots of my creations are created with my little family.

We bought our very first home in 2006. We are learning how to fix things on our own and we are having fun doing it.

We still have major renovations to do including gutting our bathroom, gutting our kitchen (we actually decided to revamp the kitchen with paint), change all the windows around the house, finishing our basement, and we also have a leaky garage roof to fix.

Yes, we have our hands full. But we have learned a lot of stuff along the way, like if you are working on project and guests show up, continue to work anyways or you might have a tremendously hard time to wipe off grout from the brand new tiles you installed. When someone suggests to you to skip a step will renovating and your gut says not to listen… you should listen to your gut or 7 years later you might still not have baseboards.

I’ve had the privilege to work with BEHR Paint, Canon, Scotch Brand, HP, Jo-Ann Fabric Craft Stores, HGTV, Staples Canada, Silhouette America, Orange Naturals, DRIcore, Martha Stewart, IKEA, Frigidaire, and that’s just to name a few.

Summer of 2013 I went on a huge adventure with GMC called GMC Hidden Treasure Adventure. I traveled with GMC and other bloggers on a hunt for yard sale treasures to decorate a home for Habitat for Humanity. What an amazing adventure it was. It was truly life changing!

My creations have been featured over 500 times on a variety of blogs and websites like: Country Living, Bob Vila, etc,..

I hope you stick around, I promise you’ll have a FUN here!!
