Lamp Shade Ideas
I was flipping through the September Issue of Martha Stewart Living and came across WONDERFUL DIY Lamp Shades! Seriously genius ways to give your lamp a new look by playing with lamp shades or by making your own.

Lamp Shade Ideas
Fusing two lamp shades together to make one spectacular one, GENIUS!
You could keep the shades as is, or even paint on them!

How about wrapping ribbon around lamp frames?

This shade is really neat too! It’s a lamp frame wrapped with yarn!
I think it would be fun to wrap different color yarn to give the shade an ombre look!

Aren’t the lamp shades fun?
I think I’m going to attempt the first one in Gabrielle’s bedroom! I may fuse two different color shades together. Do you think that would look nice? I’ve never played around with my shades to give them a unique look. I usually buy them, install them and that’s it! But that’s going to change now! I can’t wait to try out these ideas!
Have a FABULOUS day!

Christine, it’s always a pleasure “snooping” through your blog. You are one of my “Idea guys” that helps keep my creative juices flowing.
Thanks a bunch.
Back in the sixties, yeah I remember, I used to cover lamp frames with coloured string or natural rope twine.
Where did they go?
What goes around comes around!!!
Thank you for great idea . :)
