Mott’s Fruitsations + Veggie fruit snacks – #MOTTSBTS
Gabrielle went back to school on Thursday. Summer just flew by and now it’s time to start the school routine again. Our mornings start off with breakfast, getting dress, brushing our teeth and then it’s time to pack the lunch for school. I know many parents pack their kids lunch the night before, but I always pack it the same day. Why you ask? There’s actually no reason why. haha Heck, if you can save time in the morning, go ahead and pack your child’s school lunch the night before.
I’ve had problems with Gabrielle and her school lunch for YEARS! I pack her lunch bag full of stuff and it almost always comes back as full as it was when I packed it. I kept thinking that the school wasn’t giving the kids enough time to eat their lunch during lunch hour. But I soon discovered that Gabrielle just doesn’t eat much at lunch, she’s more of a snacker.
I started modifying her lunch. I pack less stuff in it and she seems to be eating more. I’m wondering if the large selection in her lunch bag was just too overwhelming for her. I also have her help me pack the lunch, like that she can tell me what she would like to eat and how much of it she wants.
I received Mott’s Fruitsations + Veggie fruit snacks a few weeks back and I had Gabrielle test them out. I was curious to see if she would like them. I thought the combination of Veggie and Fruit was a fun idea!

As you can see, she LOVED them! She even asked me to take these two photos to show you they are yummy and how sad she was when she didn’t have any left. Too funny :)

Her lunch now consists of juice, water, 2 fruit, carrots or celery, a salad or sandwich and a snack of her choice (which used to be a granola bar but now she wants Mott’s Fruitsations + Veggie fruit snacks). I’m really happy she likes the Mott’s Fruitsations + Veggie fruit snacks! They are a great additional to her lunch. They are a source of Vitamin A and a HUGE source of Vitamine C and they are gluten free! They are available in Assorted Fruit and in Berry.. both are delicious!
I have to admit that not only does Gabrielle like them and so does her 4 year old sister Emanuelle, Sébastien and I love them too! They are really tasty and a great snack on the go too!
Guess what? If you would like to try them out, Life Made Delicious – General Mills Canada has a coupon available on Facebook (while quantities last). And they have a FABULOUS contest you can enter while you’re there, where you can win one of three $500 gift cards (until September 8th 2013)! Wouldn’t a $500 gift card be super useful for back to school shopping?! You can get more details on Life Made Delicious Facebook Page.
Have a GREAT day!

I love Motts — ANYTHING. Snacks, frozen treats and gummies. Thanks for the post!
I like the idea of packing less. Here too, when I pack lots for preschool lunches so much of comes back home. Though, I don’t think these would!
Looks like your daughter really enjoys them Christine!
I like how they add vegetables. I would be curious to read the ingredients the next time I’m at the grocery store.
I love those snacks, unfortunately, they do get stuck in my kids’ teeth and they have tooth issues, so I have stayed away from them. I LOVE how they have added more goodness to these once in a while treats though!
Those look amazing! Great pics by the way, super cute!
