Family Fun during the Holidays – #HasbroCanada

Every year we make sure to ask Santa for some fun games that we can enjoy as a family. We enjoy the bonding time that it gives us as a family and all the laughter it brings! I honestly can’t think of anything that I love more than spending enjoyable fun time with my little family.

This year we put these three games on our Christmas list:

Family Fun with Monopoly Empire from Hasbro Canada

Monopoly Empire
We often play Monopoly. Gabrielle has the patience to fully complete a game. Her strategy consists of choosing the properties with the coolest names or the color she prefers. Emanuelle is an intermittent player. She comes and she goes as she pleases. She’s the first to choose a pawn. We let her throw the dice and we practice her counting by letting her move her piece. When she’s not around, we just pass her turn. When she comes back, we reintroduce her from where we’re at. Sometimes, she chooses to buy a property during her trip back to the game. Having the Monopoly Empire game at hand for the holiday season is going to be AWESOME.

bop it! TETRIS from Hasbro Canada

Bop It! TETRIS
I’m really EXCITED about this game, it combines two childhood games that I loved! I remember when my cousins arrived Christmas Day with the very first Bop It! game. We were all intrigue with it, wondering what it was exactly. It didn’t take long until we were all addicted to it and started having tournaments (trying to see who could get the farthest). Then there’s TETRIS, I remember playing it as a child. I believed my parents bought every TETRIS game that came out. Even to this day, it’s a game that I love to play. I’m certain that my family will LOVE the Bop It! TETRIS, I’m can’t wait for Bop It! TETRIS tournaments.. it’s going to be a BLAST!

BEJEWELED from Hasbro Canada

BEJEWELED
My kids play BeJEWELED on my phone all the time. The thing is, when one starts to play the game, she won’t let the other play until she’s completely finished playing. When they are finished playing then they pass the phone to the other. Having it as a board game seems like a great idea. We’re going to take turns. We’re going to move only one piece per turn. If it is not already part of the rules, I’ll make sure that it does when we play. I can’t wait to see how it goes.

  5. Wow, just learned about two new games, didn’t know about that version of Monopoly, it looks like fun, and bejewelled, too cool! What a fun gift to give a fellow “addict” :)
