Craft Paper Personalized Gift Bag
Craft Paper Personalized Gift Bags are a perfect way to add a special touch to a gift. It was my Husband’s birthday this week and I wanted to wrap his gift in a special bag. I grabbed a craft paper bag, some supplies from my February box of #12MonthsofMartha and got working on his gift bag. The bag turned out perfect, well I think so anyways. :)
Craft Paper Personalized Gift Bag
Supplies:
– Craft Paper Bag
– Scrapbook Paper (Martha Stewart Crafts – Essentials 12×12 Paper Pad)
– Circle Edge Punch (Martha Stewart Crafts – Circle Edge Punch Starter Set)
– Chipboard Letter (In my case, it was the letter S)
– Buttons
– Embroidery Thread
– Scissors
– Glue
– Hot Glue Gun
* #MarthaStewartCrafts are available at Michaels Arts and Crafts.
Instructions:
Step 1: Choose a scrapbook paper and place it inside the circle edge punch. Rotate the paper until you have a beautiful edge all the way around. It will look like a doily. Step 2: Take out a few buttons and thread some embroidery thread. I recommend using opposite colors to give the buttons a nice pop of color. Step 3: Take out another scrapbook paper and cut out a circle. Make sure the circle is smaller than the doily circle but a little bigger than the chipboard letter.
Step 4: Take out a craft paper bag and all the goodies you have created to decorate it. Step 5: Glue the doily circle onto the gift bag. Step 6: Glue the smaller circle onto the doily circle. Step 7: With the use of a hot glue gun, glue the buttons onto the circles.
And voilà, you have created a personalized craft paper gift bag for a loved one!
What do you think of the gift bag? Pretty cute right?
My husband loved it! He suggested that I keep it for next year too! haha
Hope you have a FABULOUS day!
P.S. I’ll be linking to these Parties.
Disclosure: Martha Stewart Crafts sent me supplies in order to create this project. The opinions in this post are 100% my own.
