Embroidery Hoop Valentine Art + 25 Sweet Valentine’s Day Ideas
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it’s time to start Valentine crafting! To celebrate Valentine’s Day this year, I made a set of 4 Embroidery Hoop Valentine Art. I just adore how they turned out.

Embroidery Hoop Valentine Art
Supplies:
- 3 inch Embroidery hoops
- Needlework fabric
- Scrapbook paper
- Crochet Velvet Ribbon
- Wired String Mini Raffia Bows
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors

Instructions:
Step 1: I started off by cutting a piece of needlework fabric a little bigger than the hoop.

Step 2: Next, I cut a piece of crochet velvet ribbon about the same length as the needlework fabric.

Step 3: Time to insert the fabric and the ribbon inside the embroidery hoop.
In order to do so, I removed the hoop screw and separated the rings.
I placed the fabric and ribbon over the inner ring. I slowly put the outside ring over the fabric, ribbon, and the inner ring.
Once the outside ring was over the inner ring, I reattached the hoop screw (just enough to keep the rings together).
I tugged the fabric under the hoop all the way around until I found it tight enough.
When it was tight enough, I screwed the hoop screw as tight as I could. (P.S. This is the same technique I used to make the embroidery hoop ornaments.)

Step 4: I turned the hoop over and used scissor to cut off the excess fabric and ribbon.

Step 5: Then I cut out hearts from my scrapbook paper.

Step 6: Time to add the paper heart to the center of the embroidery hoop with hot glue.

Step 8: The last thing I did was cut a small piece of the wired string mini raffia bows. Then I used hot glue to attach it to the hoop.

And voilà, done!

Because it was so fun to make, I made 3 more!
