KEEN Utility Work Boots – Safety Footwear for DIYers

What do you wear in your feet when you’re working on DIY projects? I always throw on an old pair of running shoes and hope for the best. Even though I’m known to hurt my toes quite often. OUPS! My husband wears running shoes as well when he’s working on things around the house. Sébastien owns work boots, he’s as had a couple of pairs throughout the years. He used to wear them all the time when he was working in a shop (wearing work boots was mandatory). Now he only wears them when he’s in the woods with his Dad, he says chain saws are not good for toes. haha

Why don’t we wear safety footwear when we are working on projects around the house? I mean seriously, we are lifting heavy things, using power tools, saws, etc… accidents can happen anytime. You’d think we would wear some work boots! Well, my husband doesn’t because his aren’t comfy and they are heavy. I don’t own any and I figure if they are heavy and they aren’t comfortable, I probably won’t wear them anyways.

The thing is, we are WRONG! Safety footwear can be lightweight and comfy! We just never had a pair of KEEN Utility work boots to try!

UPS delivery guy LOVES KEEN

About a month ago UPS stopped by to deliver a box with a KEEN label on it. KEEN work boots for Sébastien and I. Our UPS delivery guy was so excited to deliver the package to us. First thing he said when I opened the door was, ”Is this your first pair of KEEN?”. I couldn’t help but laugh and say YES! He told me that he owns many pairs of KEEN shoes, boots, and even sandals. Then he started telling me all the things he loves about KEEN!

• Once you’ve owned a pair of KEEN you’ll only wear KEEN after that!
• You can’t ask for better quality, comfort, elasticity, and durability!

I’m thinking he could be a KEEN spokesperson! He loves his KEEN! Of course after speaking to him I was even more excited to try out our KEEN Utility boots!

Women’s Flint Low – KEEN Utility Work Boots

Flint Low is a lightweight work boot styled and designed specifically for women. This model is a great introduction to safety footwear. It has a low-cut silhouette and breathable mesh inserts that make it very lightweight and comfortable. It also has asymmetrical steel toes.

KEEN Utility Work Boots – Safety Footwear for DIYers

Sébastien and I have been wearing our KEEN Utility work boots for the past month. We’ve been wearing them each time we’ve worked on our basement office/craft room and even when we are in my Dad’s workshop. Sébastien can’t get over and comfy and lightweight they are. He says he’s never worn work boots that were this comfortable. I love how comfortable mine are and I love that they look like hiking shoes. Obviously they are a little heavier than my running shoes because of the steel toes, but I still love them anyways. We are both really happy to have safety footwear that we can wear each time we work on DIY projects. Sébastien is also looking forward to trying out the work boots next time he helps his Dad to cut firewood!
