Treasure Life Moments – Project Life by Stampin’ Up

I use to scrapbook all the time. However, I didn’t use paper to scrapbook. I was really into digital scrapbooking. I was intimidated by real scrapbooking. I was always worried that I would cut the paper wrong or that I’d have to start all over because I didn’t like where I glued an embellishment. Yes, basically the same insecurities that I have when it comes to sewing. haha Digital scrapbooking was a safe way to scrapbook, I could also click undo if I didn’t like the way I placed something. The main down side with doing it digitally, I rarely printed my work. Isn’t the whole point about scrapbooking to have an album filled with special moments?

Project Life with Stampin’ Up

I was so excited when I was approached by Stampin’ Up to try out a Project Life kit. My love for scrapbooking mixed with a simpler way to scrapbook = PERFECT COMBINATION! You can create a beautiful scrapbook by inserting photos in the pockets, adding cards, stickers, doodles, stamp, decorative tape, etc… You can make your album as simple or detailed as you want, no rules!

See all the goodies I received?! Doesn’t everything look beautiful together?

My Project Life kit by Stampin’ Up came with:

  • 1 Black Faux Leather Project Life Album
  • 1 Variety Pack Project Life Photo Pocket Pages (12 pages per pack)
  • 1 Happiness Is… Project Life Card Collection
  • 1 Day to Day Photopolymer Stamp set
  • 1 Happiness Is… Project Life Accessory Pack
  • 1 clear block
  • 1 stampin pad (basic gray)
  • 1 Black Project Life Journaling Pens (2 pens per pack)

As soon as I opened everything, I was ready to start. I couldn’t wait to start my very first Project Life album. I knew that no matter what I did, the album was going to be beautiful thanks to Project Life! No stressing about matching this and that, everything is perfect together!

Ready to see how my Project Life album turned out?

I went the simple route, but I’m planning on making my next pages more detailed. But see how even simple looks pretty?

What’s really neat about the Project Life cards is that they are reversible. If you look at the page below, it’s the back side of the page above. I just needed to insert more photos, doodle, stick and stamp to personalize it.

  1. I’d like to start with all the notes from my daughters birth but honestly, I’d be best to start with her 6th birthday or the starting of 1st grade since that’s the most recent thing going on right now!

  2. I really need to get back into scrapbooking. I am FIVE YEARS behind! I know! I was so good with it, and then I stopped. eeeep! I also really need to get my wedding photos printed! It’s only been 3 years ;)
