Fancy Earrings and Long Chain
Learn how to make dangle earrings and a long chain. This is a really easy jewelry tutorial that will have you want to make a bunch of jewelry.

I must admit that I love making jewelry, especially quick and easy jewelry that are inexpensive to make.
I like to roam around in the jewelry making section to see if there are any supplies that spark inspiration. And that’s exactly what happened when I saw the metal mandala pendants and chain at Walmart.

I knew the pendants would make beautiful fancy mandala dangle earrings and the long chain would go great with them.
Bonus: They literally take less them 5 minutes to make.
The pendant kit came with three of each size so I figured I would make one pair of earrings in each size and make pendants with the remaining ones.
Want to see how I made them?

Instructions:
Step 1: Take four pendants out of the packaging and four earrings hooks.

Step 2: Use round nose pliers to open the earring hooks.

Step 3: Insert the pendant into the earring hook and close the hook using round nose pliers.

And then you have some cute fancy earrings!

How to make a long chain
Supplies:
- Chain (The chain I used was 30 inches long)
- Jump ring
Tools:
- Pliers
Instructions:
Step 1: Remove the chain from the packaging.
The chain I bought was the perfect length (30 inches) for me. If you want yours shorter, simply cut the chain to size using wire cutters.

Step 2: To attach both ends of the chain together, add a jump ring using pliers.

Open the jump ring with pliers, insert both ends of the chain, and close the jump ring.

There you go, you have fancy earrings and a long elegant chain!

I LOVE!! I just discovered our Wal-Mart has a small jewelry section. I’m addicted to beading.
I’ve done that, too, with the earrings. It’s fun. Thanks for sharing. linda
Sooo cute! I use to make jewelry and bought a lot of my beads and things from Walmart, it is a small selection, but I’ve found some cool stuff there. It’s definitely no Michaels or JoAnn’s. I’m venturing back into it, I’ve already started buying supplies, I think I’m going to have to head over there and check it out. I’m going to have to invest in new pliers, I use to have some and I cannot find them anywhere. I loved those things! There was a company I use to get a lot of my stuff from I think it’s called Fire Mountain Gems, they had a lot of cool stuff! That’s where I got my pliers from. They are a little more expensive, but you can find a lot of rare stuff through them. Nice job on these! I’m very inspired.
Anyway, I am a new follower. I found you at Make The Scene Mondays linky party from like 2 weeks ago. I didn’t link up on that one, because I didn’t have anything to link up that would relate, but Whether there is a party going on or not, I’m always looking for creative people to interact, network and collaborate with. I’m always looking for guest bloggers so if you are ever interested let me know. Skylar is a fashion blog, but we cover pretty much everything, so as far as what you can write about anything goes.
I am venturing into arts and crafts, but haven’t made anything yet. Right now I’m looking to others for inspiration, while I save the funds I’m going to need.
Anyway, awesome blog and awesome post!
Have a wonderful weekend!
