Every Christmas I like to get a couple of books for my daughters as gifts. My husband and I love reading to them and watching the excitement in their eyes as the stories unravel. Since Gabrielle reads now, we decided to get her books from a series. Figured this way, she’ll be even more excited about finishing the book and knowing that there’s a second book that follows.
Emanuelle will be getting these fun books:
Gabrielle will be getting The Templeton Twins Books:
Since they will be getting these at Christmas, I made them Christmas bookmarks!
- Embroidery Thread
- Hot Glue Gun
Step 1: Cut out two big and two small felt circles.
Step 2: Use a hot glue gun to attach the small circles unto the big circles.
Step 3: Use a needle and thread to attach buttons onto your felt circles.
Step 4: Cut a piece of ribbon (use a book to figure out the length you want) and hot glue each end onto the back of the felt circles.
Step 5: Hot glue the back of the circles onto felt pieces. Once they are dry and cut the access felt around the big circles (this will make circles the exact same size as your big circles.).
And voilà you have cute Christmas bookmarks!!
So what do you think of the bookmarks? Are you going to make some?
Are you planning on buying any books as Christmas gifts?
Have a FABULOUS day!
P.S. I’ll be linking to these Parties.
Disclosure: I would like to thank Raincoast Books for sending me these wonderful books for my children. The opinions in this post are 100% my own.
