What to do – Summer Kids Craft Ideas
What to do – Summer Kids Craft ~ Are you starting to run out of things to do with your children this summer? Or are you looking for some fun kids crafts to create with them? Today I’m sharing with you 5 crafts and 1 simple recipe you can easily do with your children.
What to do – Summer Kids Craft Ideas
Hand-Drawn Stuffed Monsters are fun to create. Have your children draw their creation onto a piece of paper. Use the drawing as a pattern and start cutting and stitching your creation together.
Another fun project is embellished flip flops. You can use flip flops you already have at home or purchase them from a craft store. With the use of clips and glue you can easily attach embellishments onto the flip flops. Great way to have your children put their own spin onto their sandals.
How about finding a wooden box at your local Dollar store and have your children paint the box and use it as a treasure box? It’s fun project and they can keep the box forever as a keepsake.
Jewelry making is always a big hit at my place. My daughters love it when I take out our jewelry crafting supplies. Just the other day they spent the entire afternoon creating jewelry. Gabrielle shared a wonderful tutorial a few months back on how to make chunky bead bracelets.
Are you having a get together and your children ask what they can do to help? How about asking them to make tile coasters for your guests? It’s a fun project that can be completed quite easily.
Looking for an afternoon snack? How about baking some Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins? This is Gabrielle’s recipe and she LOVES to bake some for us.
I sure hope these ideas come in handy and that they result in lots of fun with your children!
Have a great one!
