Trending Decor with Graham & Brown – The Precious Trend
As a Graham & Brown brand ambassador, every month I will share with you the latest decor trends. Last month’s trend was The Popsicle Trend. Such a fun playful trend!
Ready for this month’s trend? Drum roll please….
The Precious Trend

The Precious Trend – “Precious is an appreciation for all things vintage and antique. Whether you are redecorating, buying a few wall art pieces, or simply making a statement of your attic treasures, make sure you have fun with this one. Create your very own museum of you, full of memories.” – Graham & Brown

Simply put, the Precious Trend is an appreciation of all things vintage and antique. Think antiques, treasures, mementos, etc. Basically whatever is precious to you!
The Precious Trend encourages you to take out your precious treasures (whatever they may be) and use them as part of your home decor. Find a way to bring them back to life. Match them up with a wallpaper that will allow your treasures to shine again. Great wallpapers for this trend would be Damask and Floral.
My Precious Corner

Precious Antique Door
One of my favorite corners in my home is where I have displayed an antique door. Not just any antique door, but a door that was once in my great-grand-parents’ home. This door is so precious to me, it was door that so many of my family members have used throughout the years. Confession: I actually have 8 more doors from my great-grand-parents’ home!
I have added a sweet decor piece to it to give it a more modern look. Don’t you LOVE my Lit Arrow? Wondering how I attached it to the door? I used a heavy-duty fishing line. YAY!

My Precious Chair
I got my wonderful vintage blue velour chair from a friend who was no longer using it. It’s one of my favorite pieces of furniture. Not only is it beautiful, it is super comfy as well!
I added a colorful Meadow Pillow to it. I love that the pillow as many colors in it, it allows me to play with colors. In this case, you can tell that I stayed in the blue/teal tone, however the pillows also blends in well with my bright green family sign in my entryway.

Gabrielle’s Precious Guitar
Gabrielle has been asking for a guitar for years. Not just any guitar, but a BLUE guitar! You can guess how excited she was when her godmother got her one for Christmas. This is her treasure, her most valuable possession! Confession: She doesn’t know how to play a guitar! Guitar lessons are coming soon!

Speaking of Gabrielle, if you follow me on Instagram (if you don’t you should! haha) you probably saw a little sneak peek a couple of weeks ago of a cute package I received. I’m happy to report that I used its content to bring a HUGE smile on Gabrielle’s face!
Pretty awesome right? You can read all about it here.
Wall Art – Botanical Bloom 1 & 2, Chalkboard Happy Thoughts, and Chalkboard Dreams & Wishes. Wallpaper – Camera Black/White and Butterflies Taupe/Cream.
So, what do you think of the Precious Trend?
Has it inspired you to take out your precious treasures?
Do you currently have your treasures out on display?
What are some of your treasures?
Goodness, I have a lot of questions today! haha
Stay tuned for next month’s new trend!
Have a FABULOUS day!

I’ve been loving the metal signs with lights that I’ve been seeing! I know they’re probably super over done, but I really want to get an EAT sign like that in my dining room!

Frankly I’m still marveling about how you found a way to display a DOOR. That is such a neat idea with an amazing story!
I actually do like this trend! It is so fun and nostalgic that even if someone doesn’t share your PERSONAL memories they still can get that “old time” happy feeling.
Thank you for sharing!
So Cool- this trend is one I need to capitalize on. I have lots of stuff just laying around needing to be appreciated!
This is a really fun idea. I haven’t really thought about the precious trend and what I have that is precious to me but I think I will now. I love your corner and especially the arrow. Very nice!
What a really fun idea! Love your cute precious corner. I really need to start thinking about this, seems so fun! Thanks for sharing this at Brag worthy Thursday! Hope you will join us again this week!

This Precious Trend seems really cool. The black and white pillows are my personal favourite from all the examples. I might go to the attic and check if there is anything that may come into use. Thanks for sharing the latest decor trends, looking forward for more :)
