Trying out the Canon EOS Rebel SL1 – #RebelSL1

Last week I introduced to you our newest family member the Canon EOS Rebel SL1. I adore the camera so much, it’s easy to use and delivers amazing results. To put it to the test, I lent it out to my sisters and my Mom. Everyone came back with the same response, they LOVE it! They love it’s size, that it’s lightweight and they ADORE the features!

My sister Dominique kept saying that she loved that it made her feel like a pro, delivering amazing photos. Seriously, she really took beautiful photos! I think the camera has brought out a new talent in her. Look at the shots she captured with the camera:

Aren’t the photos beautiful? I love how the focus is always at the right spot, the touch LCD screen really helps with the focusing. I’m really impressed with Dominique’s photos! She’s planning on using one of the pine cone photos as Christmas cards this year. I think they will look fabulous as Christmas cards, what do you think?

Dominique also has new puppy at home which she enjoyed taking photos of. Stanley is a Labernese and is 12 weeks old. He’s a great puppy and oh so lovable! Isn’t he adorable?

Of course I must share some cute photos of my niece Alice! My mother and my sister Emily took these photos. I’m loving all the drool! She’s so sweet!

The Verdict

As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, everyone adored the camera. Here’s what they had to say:

Dominique said: I really enjoyed using this camera. The picture quality is amazing. I love that the camera explains what the different settings are on the screen. This camera definitely makes an inexperienced photographer feel like a professional. I’m hooked!

Emily said: I really liked the camera especially the fact that if you held the capture button it just kept taking the pictures, very good to have when you have a baby that moves all the time!! It was nice that it wasn’t heavy, and I like using it like an old camera (through the little hole hehehe). It was also super easy!!

My Mom said: I had the pleasure of using the Canon EOS Rebel SL1 for a few days and it was great. Very light camera which is good for me because I have very weak wrists. I took pictures of my husband’s roses and they turned out pretty nice considering that I am not a good photographer and the touch screen made it easy, this was one of my favorite features.
