Of course some wall projects take longer than others. It really depends on how much time you are willing to put into it.

A few years ago I made a diamond shaped wood and mosaic wall art. It took a whole weekend to put together. The longest part was cutting the stained glass. Even though it was a long project, it was so gratifying. It’s still one of my favorite projects.

I also made arrow wall decor which wasn’t too complicated. I can’t quite remember how much time it took to make though. I do remember it was fun to use the scroll saw!

Outdoor Wall Projects

Another fun thing about a wall project is that you can also make one to decorate outdoors. Like the outdoor Christmas countdown sign we made. I wish I could leave it hanging outside year-round though. hehe That project was long, but worth every minute to me.

I have been thinking about making a barn quilt that I could hang in its place. Since I have the screws already there, it would be just a question of hanging it once it’s made.

I’m not certain if I would use the same barn quilt template I used for my barn quilt door. Would you use the same one or change it up? I would use the same colors though.

Of course a barn quilt takes way longer than 2 hours though.
